B&K Management Services is owned and operated by two experienced accountants who understand the concepts and tools required in the current Government Contractual Environment. Our experience was gained at Harris Semi-conductor, Intersil, Boeing Services International, EG&G and SGS. The major customer set served included NASA, Air Force, and 45th Space Wing, Navy, USA, Boeing, McDonald Douglas and many others. The Commercial Customers are numerous. We are currently expanding to include business clientele which includes Small Businesses and Small Business Innovation Research Programs (SBIR) contractors.

Services:
B&K tailors its services to the requirements of the unique customer. Many organizations entering the current procurement environment have no expertise in reporting to NASA or the Air Force. B&K is prepared to offer it’s services to perform all or aspects of a company’s government reporting requirements. This includes a long term relationship or phase-in and training services as required.

Consulting: Experienced accountants are capable of providing this service on business opportunities and execution of business projects. We will be able to serve in an advisory role during the pursuit process and provide full service support and analysis as the business grows and develops.

Basics_of_Accounting: We know our way around a set of books. We have “hands on” with General Ledgers, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivables, and Treasury functions, Cash Management, Corporate Taxes and Personal Income Taxes.

Accounting_Systems: Supported several development teams on financial systems initiations and conversions.

Budgeting_and_Forecasting: We are familiar and capable of meeting budget requirements for the government contracting world as well as the private sector. Ability to create strategic and annual planning documents that can be used to compare actual performance to the planned performance.

Reporting: Have hands on financial reporting experience for government, internal management, and private sector. This includes Air Force Job Order Cost Accounting System (JOCAS) and NASA Financial Management (Form 533) Reporting.

Audit: Sarbanes Oxley requirements were implemented during our recent corporate tenure. The support of audit requirement is a constant in the life of any accountant. We have provided support to DCAA and several accounting firms.
